Welcome to BSA Troop 101 !

Welcome to Troop 101.  We have been an active troop in Greensboro, NC since 1963, with our charter organization Westminster Presbyterian Church. We are a very large troop, with over 100 scouts. Our goal is to make Scouting a great experience for our boys, by providing a program that meets their needs for fun, friendship, leadership, achievement, and the outdoor experience. And it is our desire to carry out the mission of the Boy Scouts of America, which is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Please take a look at the announcements and upcoming events for the latest information on weekly troop meetings, monthly outings, and service opportunities.  If you have questions or would like more information about our Troop or about how to volunteer, go to Contact Us on the Menu to your left to send an email. Or you can contact me directly at scoutmaster@bsatroop101.org.

Caving Trip - March 24-25

Posted on Jan 22 2012 - 5:35pm

We are planning a caving trip to Lost World Caverns in Lewisburg, West Virginia on Sunday, March 25. Scouts will be able to go wild caving through the mud and tight spaces in the undeveloped areas of the caverns. Lost World provides guides, equipment, clean-up facilities, a snack and lunch. The projected cost for this outing is $105 per Scout to go on the wild caving tour. (The caverns also offer a non-wild tour of the developed areas.)
